The Disabled Services Department was created to fulfill the needs of our patrons with disabilities. The XL Center has made a firm commitment to provide each guest with an enjoyable atmosphere in a clean and safe surrounding, making each patron’s visit to the XL Center a positive experience.
The XL Center is wheelchair accessible and accommodating for patrons who have limited mobility or are blind, visually impaired, deaf, or hard of hearing. For more information about Disabled Seating, please call the Public Power Ticket Office at (860) 249-7528.
Accessible/Disabled seating is available for all events at the XL Center. Tickets may be purchased on-line at Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster Charge by Phone (1-800-745-3000) or in person at the Public Power Ticket Office. When ordering accessible tickets, it is important to indicate that you require accessible seating so we can properly seat you.
Accessible and Wheelchair Seating Policy:
Accessible seating is reserved exclusively for patrons with accessible needs and their companions. Patrons requiring accessible seating may purchase one (1) accessible seat and three (3) companion seats adjacent to the accessible seat. Depending upon availability, seats for additional guests will be located as close as possible to the accessible space. This policy ensures that we are able to accommodate all those that require accessible seating.
XL Center is committed to working with patrons on a case-by-case basis to adequately accommodate individual needs. All ticket sales and exchanges are on a first-come/call, first-serve basis and will depend on ticket availability. There is no guarantee that any companion tickets will remain unsold and available. Please contact the Public Power Ticket Office via the ADA Line at 860-249-7528 or email email@example.com with further questions.
Assistive Listening Devices:
Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are available for most events from the XL Center Guest Services, located on the concourse level, outside of section 124 and section 106. To ensure that the devices are promptly returned, a major credit card or a driver’s license is required to use the devices.
The XL Center will arrange for interpretive services, if notified at the time of purchase, for select concerts and family shows. Interpretive services are not guaranteed for every event; however, we will make every effort to accommodate each request with appropriate advance notice, at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Patrons can call the Public Power Ticket Office ADA line at 860-249-7528 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request this service.
Wheelchair Space Locations:
Guests with disabilities and their companions may enjoy wheelchair space locations that are dispersed throughout the facility in numerous price ranges. Please refer to the above listed phone numbers for seating inquiries.
Service Animals/Guide Dogs:
Only pets serving as guide, signal or service pets to aid guests with disabilities, and any animals that are a primary part of the approved show are permitted. Guests bringing in service animals may not occupy additional seats unless a ticket has been purchased for the adjacent seat. Guests with service animals may request accessible seating. Animal relief areas are available and can be requested at Guest Services, outside of section 124 and section 106.
Assistance is available for any guests with disabilities who need access to the Mezzanine Level for floor or lower bowl seating. To request assistance, please visit one of our XL Center Guest Services booths outside of sections 124 or 106 or ask any member of our Guest Services team.
Wheelchair Escorts are available for disabled guests who may need assistance getting to and/or from their seat. Our escorts will meet a guest at the entry doors and assist them to their seat, as well as meeting them at the end of event and escort them to nearest exit.
