BOSTON CELTICS AND NEW YORK KNICKS RIVALRY RETURNS TO HARTFORD

July 2, 2012 (Hartford, CT) – AEG Management CT, LLC, in conjunction with Seacoast Sports, announced today that the 17-time NBA-Champion Boston Celtics will return to the XL Center Saturday, October 13 for a preseason game against the New York Knicks.
In 2010, the Boston Celtics & New York Knicks played a preseason game in front of a crowd of over 15,000 at the downtown arena, with the Celtics winning 97-84.
Chuck Steedman, Senior Vice President & General Manager of the XL Center said, “This is without a doubt one of our biggest events at the XL Center. We expect fans from across the entire northeast to make their way downtown for this game – which, as we all know, is fantastic for Hartford.” Steedman added, “Bringing the NBA to Hartford is something that AEG has been able to do in recent years and is a further testament to our extraordinary relationships with professional organizations such as Seacoast Sports.”
Fans may purchase tickets for the October 13th game at XLCenter.com and all Ticketmaster outlets beginning Monday, July 9 at 10am. Fans may also purchase by phone, by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. In addition, tickets may be purchased at the Public Power Ticket Office at the XL Center beginning Tuesday, July 10 at Noon.
Tickets for the preseason game are priced at $150, $100, $77, $45, $35, and $25, plus any applicable fees or surcharges.
