From placing media buys, creating newspaper ads, coordinating event media, writing press releases, creating event promotions, setting up press conferences or hosting pre-event parties, the XL Center’s in-house advertising agency is capable of meeting every advertising, publicity and promotional need.

Each event booked at the XL Center receives a great deal of exposure through existing facility programs. The following on-site locations provide advertising and promotional support for XL Center events: the XL Center marquee; event listing on XL Center Calendar of Events on the website and social networking sites; television monitors throughout the concourse displaying event information; monthly e-blast newsletter to our database of over 200,000 people, and press release announcing event faxed/emailed to major media outlets upon request.

Media Placement services are available through the XL Center’s Marketing Department. The regional media recognize the XL Center’s agency status and offer standard 15% commissionable rates. Print rates are quoted on request. Proposals for advertising and promotional campaigns are developed upon request. Due to the affiliation with the city of Hartford, the XL Center enjoys many low bulk rates and discounts that will save you money. The XL Center’s in-house agency also offers: coordination of trade advertising; coordination of promotional tickets and passes; coordination of press conferences, interviews, etc.; promotional events planning; media and market research.
