ADA SEATING

The Disabled Services Department was created to fulfill the needs of our patrons with disabilities. The XL Center has made a firm commitment to provide each guest with an enjoyable atmosphere in a clean and safe surrounding, making each patron's visit to the XL Center a positive experience.

The XL Center is wheelchair accessible and accommodating for patrons who have limited mobility or are blind, visually impaired, deaf, or hard of hearing. To inquire about Disabled Seating, please call the XL Center Box Office at (860) 249-7528.


Frequently Asked Questions

I am a wheelchair user and obtained non-accessible tickets from a friend or company. Can I use them?

YES If you are able to obtain non-accessible tickets, and you are a wheelchair user, please call the Disabled Services Department in order to be relocated, whenever possible, to a designated wheelchair location. We do, however, encourage you to utilize our services when purchasing tickets, so that we may better assist you.

I am a wheelchair user and would like to sit with my friends and/or family members. Is this possible?

YES At a minimum, based upon availability, you will be permitted to purchase tickets for you and one guest. Depending on the demand of the show, we may be able accommodate up to two additional guests.

I already have tickets for an event and I recently broke my leg and have a cast on. What can I do?

Please call the Disabled Services Department at (860) 249-7528, and we will make the necessary arrangements for you to attend the event in a comfortable and enjoyable manner. When calling, please have the event, date, section, row and seat available.

I have tickets for a suite and would like to use them for a guest who requires the use of a electric scooter or wheelchair. What can I do?

All of our Suites are wheelchair accessible. Please call the Disabled Services Department at (860) 249-7528 with the Suite number and the date/time of the event you are attending and we will make arrangements to have a seat removed to make room for the electric scooter or wheelchair, if required.

I am a large person and I don’t think I can fit in the seat I have. What can I do?

The average seat size in the Arena and The Theater, measured from the inside of armrest to armrest, is 17” wide. Please call the Disabled Services Department at (860) 249-7528 if you require assistance.
